こんにちは、心理カウンセラーの木村博旨です。
前回に続いて北京オリンピックについて思ったことを書きます。
オリンピックで思うような成績が出せずに、悔しい思いをした競技がいくつかありました。
私はもちろん選手ではないですが、
一番悔しかったのが野球でした。
決勝トーナメントに進んだものの、準決勝、３位決定戦ともに敗北して、
トータルでも負け越してしまいました。
見ている側でも相当悔しく歯痒かったですので、やっている選手、スタッフのみなさんの思いたるや忸怩たるものがあったと想像します。
日本はWBCで世界一だし、なんとか勝てるだろうという淡い期待があったのですが、
とはいえやはり国際舞台はそう甘いものではなかったようです。
悔しいですね。ほんと悔しいです。
でも世界で４位です。
すごいことじゃんと違う視点から前向きに考えようよという意見もあるかもしれません。
でも、やっぱり悔しいです。
こういうときは、無理に前向きに考えなくてもいい。
十分に悔しさを味わい、味わいつくす。
そんな時間があってもいいんじゃないでしょうか。
反省したり、視点を変える前に十分にその気持ちを味わいつくす。
後に引きづらないコツです。

@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?

Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. :)

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn't write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
