メンタルアップカウンセラーの澤村直樹です。
今日は前回の「人生の脚本」の流れから、「価値観」についてお話したいと思います。
赤ちゃんの頃というのは、何をやっても大抵褒められたり、喜ばれたりしますよね。
ところが１歳を過ぎ２歳を迎え、ひとりで歩いたり言葉を理解し始める頃になると、思いもよらない行動を取ったり駄々をこねたり･･･。
余裕のある時には大目に見れても、いろいろなことが重なるとつい叱ってしまうこともありますよね。
もちろん、子供が危ないことをしようとする時に注意を促す必要はあります。
ただ、その場の状況を手っ取り早く治める手段として叱ることってありませんか？
実は子供の価値観、特にネガティヴなものはこういう状況で作られやすいのです。
例えば、こんな場面を想像してみてください。
【ある日の昼下がり】
ママ 「ねぇねぇ、いつもの○○やって見せて！ママあれ好きだなぁ」
子供 「うん、いいよ♪♪」
【その日の夕方】
子供 「ねぇねぇ、ママ見て見て！」
ママ 「今忙しいから後でね」
子供 「じゃあ、これ見て！」
ママ 「も～、お願いだからあっち行っててって！」
ある時は良しとされ、ある時は注意される。
また逆に、悪口はダメと教えながら、自分はテレビやご近所さんをネタに悪口を言ってしまう･･･
というような、ある時はダメとし、ある時は良しとする言動を、私たちは無意識にしてしまいがちです。
そして、このように子供にとっては不可解な状況に対して、彼らは自ら納得のいく解釈を付けます。
こういった状況の繰り返しが、その子の価値観を形成していく要因のひとつなのです。
心に余裕がないと、人は他人の言動を素直に受け入れることが難しくなります。
そんな時は一人で頑張り過ぎず、身近な方や外に助けを求めることも必要だと私は思います。

@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?

Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. :)
