6月に入り、街のいたる場所でアジサイの花を見る機会も増えてきましたね。
去年植えた我が家のアジサイも無事すくすくと大きくなり、これからどんな色をつけてくれるのかとても楽しみです。
庭に花があるのって何だかいいですよね。
草むしりを怠り、気がつくと雑草に花壇を占領されている無精者の私ですが、アジサイの葉っぱが立派に成長している姿を見てからというもの、まめに草をとっています。
今年は幸運にも雨が多く←アジサイにとっては最高の環境にあると思います。
何かの雑誌で得た情報ですが、独身の女性が家の庭にアジサイを植えると縁遠くなるのだとか・・・どうしてなのかという理由は忘れてしまいましたが、逆に既婚の女性がアジサイを植えるのはとてもよい事なのだそうです。
既婚女性はアジサイを植えると幸せになれるということで、だからというわけではないのですが、未だ色をつけていない我が家のアジサイを見ているだけで、何ともいえない幸せな気分になってきます。
私はアジサイの花が大好きです。
この時期は「アジサイ祭り」を行っているところも多く、私も友人と豊島園にアジサイを観に行く約束をしました。
自分の好きな花を庭に植える、ということを是非お勧めしたいと思います。
もちろん花だけではなく、好きな野菜や果物、ハーブ、観葉植物なども素敵ですよね。
まめに草をむしったり、水をやったりいろいろお世話をすることは時に大変でもあるますが、植物を育てることで思いがけない発見があり、ささやかな幸せを運んできてくれることもあるかもしれません。

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn't write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
